Our History

Established in 2009, Sunrise College for Higher Studies was founded with the vision to provide quality higher education to students in rural Rajasthan. The college began with just two undergraduate programs and has since grown to offer a diverse range of courses across arts, science, and education streams.

Located in Nechhwa, Sikar district of Rajasthan, our institution has consistently worked towards bridging the educational gap between urban and rural areas. Over the years, we have expanded our infrastructure, strengthened our faculty, and enhanced our academic offerings to meet the evolving needs of our students.

Foundation of Sunrise College

Sunrise College was established with two undergraduate programs to serve students from rural Rajasthan.

2012

Introduction of Science Stream

Expanded our academic offerings by introducing B.Sc. programs with PCM and PCB streams.

2015

State-Level Recognition

Recognized as one of the top emerging colleges in rural Rajasthan by the State Higher Education Department.

2018

Launch of Integrated B.Ed Program

Started offering the Integrated B.Ed program to prepare students for teaching careers.

2020

Digital Campus Initiative

Successfully implemented digital infrastructure across campus, including computer labs and smart classrooms.

2022

100% Placement Record

Achieved 100% placement for eligible B.Ed graduates in various schools across the region.
